Falcons hope to bond while in Northwest to prepare for Seattle game

“We’re grateful to be in an organization that allows us to do that,” Smith said. “The way the calendar worked.”

The Falcons returned to work Wednesday at the University of Washington.

“We are truly grateful to the University of Washington,” Smith said. “They’ve been so accommodating. I can never thank them enough.

Smith didn’t want to program the players too much.

“We’re definitely going to give them options,” Smith said. “We are very aware that we are taking players away from their families at home. You try to adapt and have events, but you are not going to sit here and try to (dictate events).
