Edge Autonomy to deliver Penguin unmanned aerial vehicles to US military – sUAS News

Edge Autonomy is thrilled to announce that it will produce and deliver Penguin unmanned aerial vehicles to the United States military. This partnership provides the military with innovative unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and support, helping the US Department of Defense (DoD) stay ahead of conflicting developments in unmanned technologies.

Edge Autonomy has provided UAS solutions to the US DoD and NATO allies for nearly 25 years. This order for the US Army continues Edge Autonomy’s commitment to providing advanced, operationally proven unmanned technologies in support of the customer’s mission.

Edge Autonomy’s Penguin C UAS is a fully integrated, turnkey solution capable of over 20 hours of flight autonomy. The Penguin B unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a small, high-performance, semi-integrated UAS available for final assembly and customization by UAV system integrators.

“As a combat service veteran, I couldn’t be more proud of our company. We are honored to support the U.S. Army in this effort by providing unmanned systems to support the Army’s mission,” said Joshua Stinson, Chief Growth Officer, Edge Autonomy. “We are committed to advancing unmanned capabilities and supporting the military in its efforts to address complex national security issues. This effort is a major milestone and underscores our commitment to the U.S. government and the company’s dedication to supporting the nation’s American warfighter and foreign partners against adverse threats.

John Purvis, President and CEO of Edge Autonomy, further echoed the sentiment saying, “Edge Autonomy is proud to have been selected by the U.S. military to support ongoing UAS efforts. This sale represents the U.S. Army’s continued recognition and confidence in the capabilities and superior service provided by our company.
