Arcadis will support the US Army Corps of Engineers with environmental remediation services for safe water and land use


HIGHLAND RANCH, Colorado., December 6, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Arcadis (EURONEXT: ARCAD) announced today that it is one of 12 companies selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center (USACE) in Huntsville, Alabama as one of the laureates of a $ 1.136 billion shared capacity contract for chemical, environmental and munitions remediation services. Services provided under the contract will support various commands and facilities of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, and may take place at current and former defense sites, or at sites owned or controlled by the federal government in the whole world.

Arcadis is approved to perform military ammunition response program responses involving conventional ammunition and chemical warfare equipment, environmental compliance and remediation services, and other ammunition-related services as needed to ensure that lands and the waters can be used safely for their intended purposes. This contract has an initial performance period of five years, plus an option period of three years and an option period of two years.

The contract allows Arcadis to provide a wide range of environmental response missions, including conducting surveys, technical assessments, cost analyzes, corrective designs, and corrective or disposal actions relating to ammunition. and explosives of concern and hazardous, toxic and radioactive wastes.
